Reflection of the Journey

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL MY READERS!
WISH YOU ALL HAVE GREEN 2018!

The arrival of Year 2018 brings the end of my blog, how time flies in a blink of an eye! Knowledge learnt and experiences gained from internships and volunteering works in the water industry initially triggered my passion to start this blog. The blog keywords, of course, are ‘global’, ‘water’, and ‘sustainability’. Throughout researches and learning in the past few months on sustainable water resources management worldwide, I have found that it is much more diverse and complex than I expected, as every country has different water circumstances, and financial and legal controls vary due to different government policies and regulations. Hopefully covering a great variety of topics ranging from freshwater with a detailed look at groundwater to ice calving, from wastewater treatment to climate finance, and an interview with my global water experts have boosted your interest and knowledge on water! Undoubtedly, water sustainability requires cooperation from all over the world in the fields of science, engineering, financial, governmental and many other sectors.
Not only for Geology, but also for our water history: “The Present is the Key to the Past.” More importantly, the Past and Present is also the key to the Future. Gazing into the past of global water management would facilitate us to water a sustainable future for generations to come!

THANKS for staying with me on this water journey! Hope you have enjoyed the ride as much as I did! Farewell for now and hope to talk to you again soon!
